Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Ordering, storage and issuing of spares, workshop equipment and replacement parts.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily reporting to Workshop Manager on unforeseen shortcomings.
  • Determine/Reconcile stock levels by means of regular stock takes.
  • Place incoming spares in appropriate shelves/boxes.
  • Completion of all relevant registers in store.
  • Daily handling of requisition and order forms.
  • Performing of additional tasks as and when required and performing it to best of ability and according to company standards and procedures.
  • Generating and capturing of ad hoc Job Cards for the Workshop.
  • Ensure that a purchase order number is displayed on the Invoice when submitting for payment approvals.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental Policies as laid down by law and the company.
  • Always wear proper and clean PPE as prescribed by the company.
  • Store area and surroundings must be organized and cleaned when job is completed.
  • Adhere to work instructions.
  • Ensure accurate and timeous ordering of spares.
  • Ensure accurate and timeous completion of timesheet/clocking.

Ensure all received spare, invoices and GRV’s are captured on time ACCPAC for further processing

Requirement(s)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics as a subject                                           Minimum Working Experience:
  • 5 years’ experience in stock control                                                         Other:                                                                                                   
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Namibian citizen OR eligible to become a Namibian citizen
  • Working knowledge of Windows based office systems such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Accpac.
  • Valid Driver’s license will be an added advantage
