General Description of Duties

  • Manage switchboard;
  • Attending to walk-in clients with a focus on client relationship building;
  • Receiving & recording deliveries to reception;
  • Assist clients with low level enquiries;
  • Keep client statistics
  • Attending to other duties as assigned from time to time

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (at least 30 points) with at least a C symbol for English
  • Must be able to speak Oshiwambo fluently


  • Previous experience as a receptionist will be an advantage
  • Client service experience within the financial services industry will be an advantage
  • Switchboard experience on an ARC console will be an advantage


  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Multilingual (more than 2 languages);
  • Friendly & helpful;
  • Highly customer focused.
  •  A sound operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Computer Software (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook);
  • Ability to plan and prioritise efficiently;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Proactive / takes initiative;
  • Extremely self motivated;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Must be presentable;
  • Must behave in a professional manner at all times and act with integrity.
