Manufacturing & Production Plant Manager

Introduction We are looking for an experienced and confident plant manager to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the plant floor, while increasing production and revenue. You will manage scheduling daily operations reports, overseeing, and increasing production by providing leadership and developing strategic plans. You need to be a strong leader with analytical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Hire & Train of Factory Staff
  • Delegation of tasks to factory staff as necessary
  • Create & control quality control standards and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Create and implement a Machine Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure
  • Analyze factory data and devising improvement strategies as necessary
  • Create production data reports
  • Implementation of Group Strategic Framework
  • Ensure all compliance needs are met
  • Manage scheduling for a fully operational team
  • Oversee daily floor operations
  • Develop strategies to increase productivity and production
  • Oversee all shipments, incoming inventory, and storage operations

Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business management, business, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years’ previous experience as a plant manager, supervisor, or related position
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams
  • Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures
