About the job General and Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a General and Sales Manager, for a well-established company within the construction industry.

They are a 100% Namibian owned housing developer situated in Windhoek.

Primary Purpose:
To strategically manage the operations of the company
To co-ordinate and manage sales and Estate Agents
To investigate and procure new development opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the Project Manager
Establish and manage sales office (Marketing and Sales)
Coordination sales team and estate agents
Contract management in sales process value chain – (I.e checking contracts ,securing signatures,liaison with transfer and bond registration attorneys , reports sales figures ,liaison with banks)
Assist with document management
External stakeholders liaison (CoW, approval authorities) assisting professional team (early /advance warning on technical issues) and assist to resolve bottlenecks
New business development and market intelligence collection / reporting (including market trend reporting)
Attend site meetings and exco with view to gain overall project knowledge
Assist the Project Manager in preparing progress reports, coordinate sales reports board documentation
Track overall feasibility with Project Manager
Improve overall corporate governance
External stakeholders liaison
Assisting the professional team with resolving legal, statutory, administration and technical matters
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Appropriate Degree in the Building Environment
Drivers license Code B
Namibian / Domicile
