Client Service Consultant

Purpose of the position:
Ensures that all customer queries are dealt with in an efficient manner and provides a high level of service to promote the organisation’s products and services. The incumbent has basic product knowledge and may be responsible for marketing the organisation’s products and cross-selling them in an effective manner. The incumbent may provide the service internally and externally.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Beneficiary updates
  • Cession resignations/cancellations (identified specialist)
  • Cancel or paid up status change on policies
  • Growth skip & cancel
  • Continuations of retirement and non-retirement annuities (scanning and no capturing)
  • Maturities and early retirement on retirement annuities (scanning and no capturing)
  • Maturities and other savings claims capturing
  • Notification of death claims
  • Personal details changes on policies
  • Servicing walk-in clients, per email (written correspondence) as well as telephone enquiries

Qualification and Experience:
Grade 12 with 2 to 3 years experience
