ADMIN CLERK

To oversee and supervise the administrative process in the Warehousee pertaining to the Material Management system and other reporting, receiving of stock, stock transfers, clock cards of staff and all other administrative functions. Act as relief for other warehouse staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile and distribute various management reports
  • Perform goods receipts of MM system for all agency goods
  • Manage and reconcile Petty Cash on a weekly basis
  • Print all pickings for orders captured on a daily basis
  • Check “order” screen on a daily basis to ensure that all customers’ orders are executed
  • Assist Managers and Supervisors with information required from BI and when required
  • Manage and control all Warehouse clock cards, after being signed off by the respective supervisors
  • Assist with stand-in duty in the admin office as and when required i.e. when an employee is going on leave, getting ill and needs to be relieved on his/her duties
  • Perform record keeping and manage services of the warehouse forklifts on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Assist with daily, weekly cycle counts in the Warehouse
  • Assist with monthly Warehouse stock takes
  • Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures at all times

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Grade 12
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Warehoue environment
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Be prepared to work odd hours and overtiime if and when required
  • Report functional information
  • Adhere to legal requirements pertaining to the Warehouse and related operations
  • Utilize functional resources
